I’m Dr. Jennifer R. Levin, a traumatic grief expert with over 30 years experience at the forefront of loss. I’ve built a skilled, dedicated team to bring that expertise to every population we serve.

I bring over three decades of experience working at the intersection of traumatic grief, sudden loss, and systems of care.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified Fellow in Thanatology, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals, families, and organizations navigate the impact of sudden and unexpected loss.

My work includes individual therapy, professional training, organizational consulting, and public speaking.  All services are grounded in my clinical expertise and real-world experience.

Dr. Levin specializes in destabilizing losses, traumatic and complex grief. She works with individuals, couples, and families and her clinical focus includes nervous system regulation, living with uncertainty, development of continued bonds, post-traumatic growth, and supporting clients in creating a meaningful life while living with loss.

Organizational Consulting

Creator of WeCARE™ Workplace, a grief system that helps organizations support employees living with loss. She provides crisis support to leaders and teams during high-impact events and works proactively with organizations to plan for unexpected events, building clear, compassionate, and sustainable approaches to disruption in the workplace.

Education and Training

Dr. Levin provides advanced training and continuing education for mental health clinicians, medical professionals, and care providers, equipping them with clinically rigorous, evidence-based skills for working effectively with individuals experiencing loss and traumatic grief.

Author & Speaker

Dr. Levin is the author of The Traumatic Loss Workbook: Powerful Skills for Navigating the Grief Caused by a Sudden or Unexpected Death, creator of The Traumatic Loss Companion Course: A Guided Path for Healing, and host of the podcast Untethered: Healing the Pain from a Sudden Death, where she explores the clinical, personal, and societal impact of sudden loss.
