Sandy serves as the Director of Operations and Client Experience for Dr. Jennifer R. Levin. She oversees daily operations and serves as a primary point of contact for individuals seeking support, information, and resources, helping ensure every client experience is handled with professionalism, compassion, and care.
Adena received her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2018. She was previous Director of Beyond Loss, a peer training and grief support program Adventist Health Glendale. In her private practice, Adena provides grief-informed therapy for individuals, couples, and families walking through the life altering journey of grief and major life transitions. She has received specialized training in sudden and unexpected loss. Her work not only addresses grief related to the death of a loved one, but also to losses connected to relationships, identity shifts, and major life transitions. Adena is also the founder and director of Love and Light Grief Center a compassionate grief support for individuals navigating life after loss. She is committed to creating a space where grief is honored, stories are heard, and individuals are met where they are in their group experience. Love and Life Grief support offers weekly, year-round, low-fee grief support groups for adults coping with the loss of a loved one, suicide loss, and ambiguous loss.
